What's the coolest thing you've done with Python?

I helped a client build a system that automatically detects pathogens in blood samples. The low level device control and image processing is done in C and then wrapped in Python for the instrument's high level interface and configuration.

What would you like to learn in the Python world?

A deeper understanding of Python generally and interfacing it with other languages.

Any particular areas of expertise outside of Python?

Life science R&D, computational biology, bioinformatics, drug discovery and development, agile, scrum, UX design

Specialist in the application of computers to real world challenges in commercial life science R&D
