Time for some easy top rope and lead climbing, at Echo Crag in Lincoln, NH. This cliff is just off I-93/Styles Bridges Parkway, east of Echo Lake. The cliff is mostly known for easy (5.5 - 5.7) routes that are good for trad climbing ( http://www.mountainproject.com/v/echo-crag/105947922 ). There are several harder climbs on the cliff, on Profile Cliff, or across the street on Cannon.
Open to all levels and abilities, but especially for beginners who know at least how to belay, have shoes, harness, and helmet. It is also great for folks starting to trad leading on rock. Bring shoes, harness, helmet, belay devices, locking carabiners, rope, rack, etc. Please make sure to label your gear.
Meetup at the turnoff, or if you are late, at the cliff.
Directions: Take I-93 north to Profile Road (Exit 34C). Turn right at Profile Road, and park along the side. MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS PARKED OFF THE ROAD! http://goo.gl/maps/88SU
