TMIRCE Saturdays @ City Sports Informal Run + Breakfast

Meet up with The Most Informal Running Club Ever for the weekly Saturday Fun Run. We'll split up into groups depending on the turnout for distance and time goals for 4, 6 or 7 mile loops. It's your choice!

What to expect: a seriously fun group of runners who definitely do not take running too seriously . We will meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT BREAKFAST and then leave. It's that easy.

Breakfast Details : Between 11:15 and 11:30 (depending on how long we run) we will meet back at CITY SPORTS Comm Ave. for breakfast.

Feel free to contribute a great breakfast item to share with the group (eggs, bagels, fruits, muffins, juice, bacon, potatoes, etc.) You're not obligated to bring anything, though, so please join us for breakfast after the run anyway.

Meter parking is easily accessible on Comm Ave. and also Gardner St. which runs parallel behind the store. The B train on the Green Line stops directly across from the store at Babcock St.

CITY SPORTS is located near the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. and Babcock St.

I'm excited to join tomorrow....and I can only do about 3-4 miles right now but looking to be able to do 13 by October. Hope this will help me build up to that goal.

I'm from out of town and looking for someone to complete a long run with. Schedule says 16 miles but ill be happy with anything over 10. Unfortunately my husband /running buddy is injured! I'm at a 930/945 pace.

Hi! I'm a somewhat newbie runner and I'm not quite at 4 miles yet. Are there people who walk/run the loops?

Sometimes. Newbies are the greatest. There's always the ole faithful, 2.5 mile out and back. Well get you up to four soon though.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
