Do you know that the type of Brooks you bought are good for
overpronation? I used to get knee problems all the time. I switched to
Nike Air Structures and haven't had a single problem in years. I'm not
saying this is the right shoe for you but you should start by going to
Marathon Sports or somewhere else that will do a gait analysis and
hook you up with the right shoe. I think you should start with that
and then do the final tweak with orthotics if you haven't already.
Also, don't forget to ice the knee after runs until you get your
muscle strength back.
