BitCoin at the Bar

We are proud to announce our new event series BitCoin at the Bar focused on bringing technologists together around digital currency and its growing role in the software engineering community.

Let's chat about the API, developer tools, PGP encryption, and the future of BitCoin.  Buying, selling, and trading BitCoins is welcome.

The event will be free, and a casual gathering. If anyone wants to be a guest speaker to the crowd briefly, just let me know at [masked].

The 21st Amendment, "Where Beacon Hill Meets"

The 21st amendment has generously offered to sponsor our BitCoin at the Bar events.

Boston is an enormously passionate city, spirited debate is practically our fifth major sport. While we may respectfully part ways on nearly everything, including that necktie of yours, public opinion is squarely behind the 21st Amendment.

The 21st has elevated the "neighborhood pub" concept high above Beacon Hill by infusing our spin on traditional pub classics while carving out our own culinary history. When both locals and visitors are seen rubbing, okay, bending elbows in the same room, it's obvious that the quality of the food and the company has transcended party lines. Come spend some time with us at the 21st and see "Where Beacon Hill Meets".

Is this meetup Monday or Tuesday? I have an email from Meetup saying Tuesday.

I wrote it down for Tuesday, because it originally was Tuesday when I signed up for it, but I see that I missed reading the e-mail that changed the date. Here is the text from the original invitation:

Excellent discussions all around. This was a great event for newbies like me to come and talk to the veterans (!) of the currency and talk frankly about both technical and political details surrounding BitCoin.
