    Hi, Manny,

You'll find that different leaders strike different paces. Sharon (Ponkapoag) and Anne (Tues White Triangle) are usually very fast, a "workout pace." I believe Jim's Thursday up Great Blue is also very fast. Some of the others moderate a bit more. Because my weekend hikes get so large (20-25 hikers), I feel I must slow the pace to be sure everyone is safe. What usually happens is the same as last night: some speed ahead and wait periodically, others are slower. Hope to see you soon!
