Dina Clark, Collection Manager, has agreed to give us a herbarium tour at the University of Colorado Museum, Boulder, on Friday, March 1 at 1pm to 3pm. We will get the basics of what a herbarium is for, how it is organized, how it can be used, and the proper techniques for handling herbarium specimens. She will also help us pull some specimens to look at which we have been seeing in the field for the last 2-3 times we have been out. I will need to give her an RSVP count on Thursday to let her know how many people we have coming.
