Advanced Spanish Meetup

(English translation below.  NOTE:  This Meetup is usually held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. )

////////////////////////

The advanced group is a subgroup of the Boulder Spanish Meetup that provided a forum for advanced Spanish speakers or to those who have an interest in becoming fluent in Spanish.  We are particularly interested in attracting native speakers to our group.  Each meeting we will try to have a discussion theme to stimulate a group discussion, and we will also leave a significant amount of time for informal discussions in an unstructured environment.

The group is open to all who already speak Spanish at an advanced level, and to those who want to better their Spanish through participation in an advanced group.

    It's just a curiosity, but I've been wondering if this group has really skewed towards the advanced capabilities -- or if Dennis has just done such a damn good job of making the advanced group happen so reliably. I suspect that's not the case and we need to find a "Dennis" equivalent event organizer for the non-advanced and get them talkin' Espanol again. I pretty sure it's NOT fair to ask this of Scott who has blessed us with this drama-free group so many years now that we should be willing to identify, deify and if necessary fortify someone to take control and return the massive crowds to the beginner and intermediate meetings. Or ... has everybody already learned Spanish and that's no longer necessary?
