Estoy jubilado y hoy en dia vago por la Tierra buscando a aves y olas. Viajo por viajar, y asisto a reuniones de Meetup cuando esté en Colorado durante los inviernos.
We're still a new group, trying to figure out what we want the group to do. We're soliciting new ideas from all members and we're trying new things. Some ideas will be great successes. Other ideas will flop and we won't repeat them. The recent planetarium show is an example of what may appeal to some members, but not others. A club is what its members make of it. Right now, we're looking for new ideas from the members about new activities. We have a "core" membership that can provide organization, but fresh ideas from out members is what we're seeking. It's exciting to have a group small enough so that new ideas of new members are valued and implemented. And, I suppose, you get to exercise your Spanish often enough that you don't forget by disuse what you already know. If the club isn't what you like when you get there, you have the opportunity to shape it into what you do like. We all feel that way.
