From Boulder Wine Meetup Member Gordon:
Bring a bottle of bubbly wine to celebrate that we survived the floods.
I and many others have gotten through the worst of the cleanup - let's make Light of our misfortune and have a champagne Toast.
Remodeling my basement, I kept thinking that the Light was the Light at the end of the tunnel, but then...
WHAM!!! It was always the Light of the on-coming Train.
Like Noah's Flood just as I was finishing the remodel.
So it's almost finished - AGAIN! A Great excuse to host a Party!
So might as well celebrate the Light!!! Wherever it comes from.
Let the champagne bubbles sparkle away our cares and we'll try out my ever-evolving remodel as a party space.
Bring a nice dish to share and a wine glass.
The Spanish "champagnes" are my favorite, like Segura Viudas.
Made by hand by the traditional "methode champagnoise".
Barefoot, Yellowtail, Lorikeet, Gruet, Domaine St. Michel are all listed as best buys.
(And please don't mention it to me, if you hear the distant whistle of an approaching train.)
