This event is hosted monthly on the 4th Tuesday of every month by Moses Kamai, Gordon and Debi Velasco. You will certainly see the hosts play the ukulele, sing, and maybe dance. Occasionally, there are guitar and Hawaiian Slide Guitar players gracing the mic and accompanying this powerful little instrument. Songs include everything from pop, rock, country, swing, as well as what is traditionally known about the ukulele, Hawaiian music. Gordon and Debi Velasco of "Lelehuna" and who are long time Hawaiian musicians and hula performers in the DC Metro area. Moses Kamai is a hobby musician having fun playing the ukulele, and occasionally singing.
Meet new people while listening to good music at a very friendly and laid back atmosphere. Plus it is my debut, you don't want to miss me singing and playing with Moses Kamai (one of the co-hosts) do you?
They also have great food and drinks!
