It was a great meeting, with standing room only. Especially enjoyed seeing a few familair faces that haven't been there in a while. It's a good feeling to know that the cause of liberty is alive and well in the Brazos Valley. It was also fantastic news that the state LP was given a very large donation to help LP candidates fund local campaigns for non-partisan positions such as mayor, city council and school boads.

Almost everyone got to talk on a topic of interest to them, which always, when this happens, makes for a lively and entertaining meeting for everyone. Some people from Austin were there offering to help our local candidates win races, which was probably a surprise to many that there is a Texas Liberty PAC with paid staff and money for that purpose.

It is difficult, for personal reasons, for me to attend meetings. But I enjoy listening to people of like mind express their opinions and detail how they intend to put their beliefs into action.
