Clyde Garland reports:
At today's (10/22) Retired Teachers Personnel Noon event, there were 120 in attendance and 19 candidates (or their Rep) spoke.
Both Linda Wilbert's opponent's for JP4 spoke.
Bruce Pugh's DP opponent for St.Rep14 spoke. I spoke two minutes for Bruce presenting his approved speech. I touched upon three topics: Freedom is better than Socialism. Juries have a right to render a just verdict. Private schools do a better job for less than public schools.
Here is part of the speech: "Public schools were formed not to educate us. We were already the most educated nation in the word. They were formed to make us good citizens, ..."
Even though teacher per hour income is in the upper 20%, the theme of the other candidates was that teachers are underpaid and overworked.
A few hours ago Bruce spoke for 2.5 minutes at the Bush Library.

Happy Early Voting Day!
I am going to be passing through Hearne on Wednesday with campaign signs and I a hoping to get a Brazos volunteer to place some of them at polling locations. I have mine, Jaime Balagia (Att Gen) and Rebecca Pollock (US Senate). If you have any that your like me to take to other counties I will take them.
