Subject: Critical Vote Monday! No Medicaid Expansion Phone Bomb!

Dear Patriots,

Tomorrow at 1pm the Senate PPACA Committee is going to meet and likely vote in favor of expanding Medicaid.

We need to make our opposition known to make this vote as hard as possible on the members of the committee, which is why we are having a phone bomb to key Senate offices starting at 9am.

How this works:

Forward this out to your entire area contact list.  Make sure that the script and contact info listed are for the Senator from your area because they care most about hearing from their constituents rather than people from all over the state.

Monday morning (tomorrow) at 9am start calling their office number.  If the line is busy keep calling back until you get through.  The idea is that as soon as they hang up they get another call.  Hopefully we can get this going so that they get flooded with calls non-stop.

Suggested Script:

Hi, my name is _(NAME)_ and I'm calling from  (CITY).

I'm calling to voice my opposition to Medicaid expansion.

Expanding this broken, government-run program will cost Floridians billions of dollars.

This expansion will result in a tax increase on me and my family for generations to come.

My family can't afford Medicaid expansion.

Please vote against expanding Medicaid.

Members of the Committee that need to be called:

Bay, Holmes, Jackson, Walton, Washington, and part of Okaloosa:

Senate President Don Gaetz -- (850)[masked]

Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River Counties:

Senator Joe Negron -- (850)[masked]

Seminole, part of Volusia:

Senator David Simmons -- (850)[masked]

Miami-Dade County:

Senator Anitere Flores -- (850)[masked]

Okeechobee, and parts of Highlands, Martin, Osceola, Polk, and St. Lucie counties:

Senator Denise Grimsely - (850)[masked]

Hillsborough & Pasco:

Senator John Legg -- (850)[masked]

Nassau, part of Duval:

Senator Aaron Bean -- (850)[masked]

The most important targets are President Gaetz, Chair Negron, Sen. Simmons and Sen. Flores.  But it is important that all of the Republican members get calls which is why they are all listed.
