What draws you to reading non-fiction books !?

The truth is stranger than fiction! Although I do read a small amount of fiction, I genuinely find non-fiction books much more interesting and always have done. I read a mixture of history, current affairs, religion and general ideas. Certainly with regards to history, you will gain a wide insight into current affairs. If you have read some Islamic history or an account of the 1929 crash for instance, it can sometimes feel like reading a newspaper or checking a website. I am also a Francophone and have started to read some French non-fiction.

My interests include cooking, reading and music.
