Greetings All - The 2nd Annual FFRFMCC "Darwin Day" Party is near! In celebration of the birth of the man who guided humanity away from the nonsensical biblical notion of creationism, our event this year will feature an appearance by Mr. Darwin himself! Living History Impersonator RJ Lindsey (http://www.rjlindsey.com/) will be on hand to portray Charles Darwin.  The fun will begin with an educational slide presentation from "Professor Darwin," highlighting his discoveries during his 5 year voyage on H.M.S. Beagle.

We will then feast on a dinner buffet of Ecuadorian food dishes from Restaurant Ecuador in Chicago, in honor of Darwin's trip to the Galapagos Islands.  "Professor Darwin" will also be joining us for dinner to mingle with the guests and discuss his transition from a Christian in the Church of England to becoming an agnostic. So mark your calendars! Date:  February 23rd, 2014 Time:   4:00pm - 7:00pm Place:  The Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago      7574  N. I am planning to take the 24th off from work so I am planning to attend the meeting on Sunday the 23rd. I hope to finally meet everyone in the group however my work always ends up taking precedence so I can only truthfully say that there is a moderate probability that I will be able to attend.
