Darwin Exhibit! Field Museum!!

We'll be meeting on the northern steps of the Museum (the side facing the Shedd Aquarium) at about 8:45 on Saturday morning. Look for Matt Lowry in his black Skeptic's Society T-shirt (it says "SCIENCE RULES" on the back)

There is an admission fee. The fee for this exhibit varies from $19 if you don't want the audio tour to $27 if you want the audio and entrance to the Underground Adventure. Most of us will probably want the $24 "Gold Pass" that includes the audio tour but not the Underground Adventure. Afterwards we may want to go somewhere to discuss the exhibit. More info on this will be forwarded when available. Here's where you can go to buy tickets:
http://purchase.ticke....
or go to the main Field Museum site: http://www.fieldmuseu....
When buying your tickets, remember that it's for SATURDAY, JULY 28, 9:00 AM. The contact person for this event is going to be Matt Lowry, who is now listed as an assistant organizer, thankfully, for this event.

If 9:00 AM won't work for you, there is another associated group that is planning to meet at noon for this outing. Gretchen, who is a member of the Chicago Brights meetup group and is the organizer of the Chicago Skeptics meetup group is taking her group on this day as well with the slightly later starting time. If the later start time would work better for you, please go to her group site at http://skeptics.meetu... and join and RSVP there.

Otherwise, please RSVP here as soon as you can so that both Matt and Gretchen will have an idea of how many to expect. If you are interested in carpooling, please let Matt know as soon as possible - he has two spots left in his car.

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
