Join us for another video exploring issues related to critical thinking and ethics. We'll be watching part of the PBS series Save the Bay which covers mercury pollution. While the silver mines of New Almaden closed some time ago, there is a cement plant in Cupertino that is emitting mercury daily. And the mercury hangs around a long time.

Soup at 6:30.  All food is vegan. Video starts at 7:30.

A timely video that was most appropriate for Earth Day week. Mercury is a big problem in the Bay Area and brought up a good discussion on environmental issues and what our Community might do about it. Great food as usual....thanks Paula.

Thoughtful and lively discussion about methylmercury pollution created by the quicksilver mine at New Almaden 150 years ago which is still delivering pollution today to our local waters.
