Hi everyone,

I can't wait to see all of you Saturday. There is lot's to talk about and plan for. Pete Ludovice unfortunately has had to cancel his satire for this meeting but he has recommended his friend Steven Fazenbaker to speak with us. Pete will hopefully join us at an upcoming meetup sometime in the not to distant future.
Steven Fazenbaker is a United Methodist minister and the director of the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech, the United Methodist campus ministry. He is beginning his 11th year at Tech. Prior to Tech he did campus ministry in San Francisco, Hartford CT, and at Reinhardt College in Waleska, GA. He earned a bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech in the 1980's, and a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University in 1995.
Steven will speak with us about some of the situations he has encounter that has kept the separation of church/state issue always present in his mind while working at a state university.

While we have over 70 enthusiastic members, the turnout for our meetups is somewhat less than our feelings for the issue would lead one to think. Please spread the word and have more people join us at these events. There are theocratic storm clouds brewing in Georgia, and while we cannot endorse political people, we can address some issues. Come on down to Manuel's Tavern and let's talk over what we need to do to keep our government belief neutral.
In Peace I wish already,
