Thanks Kim for organising this day.
Lovely to meet the other ladies too.
Both Rebecca & Janelle listed some excellent comments.

Prisoners was a superbly acted and directed film about a disturbing but relevant topic. A masterfully crafted suspenseful thriller with some things to say about human behaviour. I would have like it to have explored the aftermath a bit further.

I'm reluctant to see "Prisoners" due to the warnings that it contains quite brutal torture scenes. Too much for me to stomach, I think.

It's very difficult to see if you have children, or work with children.

I would have to say this is Hugh Jackman's best performance to date. He encompassed Wolverine and moved us as Jean Valjean. However, as Keller Dover, he showed us his true dramatic range and put himself into a character that, in a sudden change of events, turns into a completely different human being.

Prisoners takes an indifferent premise and, through fantastic direction, adds layers upon layers. The performances are tremendous 4.5/5

Very dark but an excellent look into human behavior. Excellent acting.
