MOVIE - "BAD GRANDPA" @ Cineplex South Bank
DATE/TIME - WEDNESDAY, 20th NOVEMBER 2013 @ 6:15pm (for 6:40pm session)
CINEMA - CINEPLEX SOUTH BANK
SYNOPSIS - 86 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companion, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa." The signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicoll) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera. Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that give new meaning to the term child rearing. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (and their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons and a whole lot of unsuspecting citizens.
CAST - JOHNNY KNOXVILLE, JACKSON NICOLL.
GENRE - COMEDY
CLASSIFICATION - R18+ (Strong crude content, coarse language, graphic nudity, drug use)
MEETING TIME - 6:15pm
MOVIE STARTS - 6.40pm
TICKETS - To avoid the box office stampede, it's recommended that you buy your ticket online. NOTE: Cineplex's online booking system often gets a 'ghost in the machine'. It can tell you that a session is sold-out, when it's actually 90% empty! If you can't buy your ticket online, simply buy one at the box office. It's extremely rare for a session to sell out.
WHERE TO MEET - The group will gather in the cinema's upstairs Coffee Lounge area from around 6:15pm, then head into the cinema at about 6:30pm (otherwise we risk getting bad seats!). The Coffee Lounge bar serves a nice range of food and drinks.
Please regroup in the coffee lounge after the movie.
EVENT HOST - Mark (Mobile:[masked])
DINNER BEFORE? - Please let us know if you'd like to join us for dinner BEFORE or a drink AFTER the movie. There are plenty of excellent eateries very close to the cinema, all serving great food at reasonable prices. We'll regroup in the cinema's upstairs coffee lounge after the movie for a drink.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Public transport to the cinema is very convenient. Please CLICK HERE for further information.
FREE PARKING - Be sure to allow extra time if you're using the cinema's underground carpark, as it's often very busy. If the carpark is full, the machine will only allow you in when a car leaves the carpark. This can mean a wait from between 5 mins to 30 mins. Parking is free for cinema patrons up to 4 hours, and is accessible via Ernest St, close to the Grey St intersection. Remember to have your parking ticket validated at the box office when you leave the cinema. Be careful not to exceed the 4-hour parking limit, as a hefty $35 penalty applies.
