Understanding IT Contracts Invitation

From: Matt P.
Sent on: Tuesday, May 22, 2012 10:56 AM

Dear Brisbane Web Tech Members,

We had such a great response from our Understanding IT Contracts workshop back in April, that we decided to run it again (and invite you to join us).

Do you provide IT services, design websites, or code software? Do you often skip the contract to get straight to the code? Ever had the scope blow-out or trouble getting paid? In this hands-on jargon-free workshop we’ll walk you through what’s in an IT contract, and why.

Date:                     Thursday, 14 June 2012

Time:                    8.30am for a 9am start (to approximately 1.30pm)

Venue:                 Brook Hotel, 167 Osbourne Road, Mitchelton, Queensland 4053

Cost:                      $145.00 $95.00 with promo code IDEA2012 ($50 discount for BWT members)

(includes tea & coffee, morning tea, lunch, and workshop resources)

Sign-up on Eventbrite: http://idealaw2.eventbrite.com.au/

We had fantastic  feedback from everyone who attended the workshop in April – 100% of them said that our workshop was one they’d definitely recommend to friends.  One told us that the information from the workshop helped her sound more professional and confident in negotiating a better deal for custom software.

Tickets are limited due to venue size, so get in early to secure your place.

Kind Regards,

Matt Phipps | IT Lawyer
