4 Week Course: Develop Your Meditation Practice & Optional Reiki Healing, with Kat Day

The word meditation is derived from two Latin words: “meditari” (to think, to dwell upon, to exercise the mind) and “mederi” (to heal). Its Sanskrit derivation “medha” means wisdom. The beauty of meditation is that it is something that we can all do. A common misconception is that in order to meditate you have to completely empty your mind but this is not true. Meditation is a means of focusing the mind to give relief from the often negative “chatter” which goes on most of the time in our heads and to assist you in discovering your Peace and stillness within.

My popular, friendly and informal meditation classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators alike. They are especially designed to build your confidence and skills so that as the weeks go by you will have learned a variety of techniques to naturally enhance and deepen your meditation practice.

Each session will involve a different type of meditation. Themes can include: open-eye meditation, mandalas for meditation, mindfulness meditation, body scan meditation, colour therapy meditation, healing circle meditation and more. Of course, I will continue to include some of the popular guided journey meditations that I am famous for and that you may know and love!

Benefits of this course include:

• Gain knowledge and instruction of various types of meditation popular around the world, to expand your mind, raise your energy vibration and build your confidence.

• Opportunities to try out meditation styles you may have not have experienced before, to discover what allows you to effectively still the mind and access your Soul.

• Regular attendance to allow the group energies to remain constant and build up over time, which will not only enhance your personal meditation experience but also strengthen social connections for all members within the group.

PLUS: As an optional extra, REIKI HEALING will be given free of charge to those who would like it after each meditation session.

The course is run by Qualified Meditation Teacher, Reiki Master Healer & Spiritual Life Coach Kat Day, on Monday evenings from 8:15pm – 9:45pm at Baileys Court Activity Centre, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 8BH.

Cost is £20.00 per person (which is only £5.00 per session).

Immediate payment, by cash/cheque or bank transfer at the time of booking, is required. You will be emailed by Kat to arrange payment shortly after you click “RSVP” to book.

(Terms & Conditions: All payments are non-refundable, but you may transfer your place to someone else of your choosing if you decide to drop out of the course. You must advise of any special requirements you will need during the course at the time of booking.)

    Yesterday was the first part of a series of four meditations and the energies were very high. Kat's soothing and caring voice carried us gently through the topic of mindfulness accompanied by beautiful ambient background music. The optional Reiki healing afterwards finishes the session of beautifully and feels like "the icing on the cake". Thank you Kat! ♥

    This Mindfulness Meditation was great. At one stage I felt I was receiving a hug from everyone in the room. Then to top it all I had a Reiki treatment with Kat which was amazing.

    To clear up any confusion, the course dates are as follows: 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th January. Your £20 fee covers all 4 of these dates. On 4th February we start again with a new 4 week course, which is listed seperately on here.
