Bath to Frome via the Two Tunnels and Colliers Way - Route 24 of Sustrans National Cycle Network - a recreational path extending 18 miles through green landscape. Back to Bath via country lanes and the Bradford on Avon Cycle Path.

Approx 42 Miles – Steady Pace - Mainly flat paths and quiet roads, a few small hills.

For anyone that wants to cut the distance in half there is the option of catching the train back from Frome to Bristol or Bath. On a Saturday they run at 14.39, 14.59 and 15.55. We should expect to be in Frome by 2.00 pm.

Thanks all, Nice ride again with only a scattering of rain and happy that no one (apart from me) got lost this time.

Respect to the guys that managed the whole route and another 30 miles or so on top of that from Bristol, Bath and back.

Well done to the rest of us for catching the train in time !

Looking to come and join in as we are aiming to do about 65 we will come on road bikes trust his is OK on the path. We will probably come a more direct route back to Keynsham/Bitton and jump on the Bath>Bristol path there.

How are you getting to Bath?

    March 16, 2014

    • Jo

Train. Cycling would make the whole journey over 70 miles - not fit enough for that yet in one day or probably ever !

    Looking forward to it!
