Hi All,

So its a Baby Boy!

Ok everyone, last minute but we have to get down to the Dog and Bear at 1100 Queen St W for anytime from 5pm, their special coverage will be from 7-8pm.

We have been asked by CityTV if we are organizing anything for the Birth of the Royal Baby as in are we meeting up to toast the new heir...

I hadn't planned to but after speaking with the producer they have said they want to catch some reaction on TV of Expats in Toronto at a Downtown Pub so I thought it might be a good thing to do.

As it will be a last minute thing to organise, please rsvp if you are able to get to a Downtown Pub (probably around Yonge and Bloor) with a few hours notice and want to come to a quick meetup with a chance to be on CityTV.

I ask that you only RSVP if you fully intend to come so I can let them know accurate numbers.

If you RSVP, when I know the location, I will message those who have RSVP'd rather than the whole group.

See you soon

Sorry the new venue is too far from the subway for me as i would also have been getting the GO train in from oakville.

I can't guarantee, but depending on what day there will be 2 of us coming along - a Manc and a Londoner! I think it is hilarious that Canadians have got so keen on 'baby watch'!

HI Jonathon, it all depends on the day but I can probably attend?

Wonderful event but over-hyped. Only thing I haven't seen is Kate's Fallopian tubes. Mind you, that's without reading The Sun.

would be fun to do..however I am not really an expat...canadian born with an english mother....also tricky when we don't have a sure date but might be a last minute turn up...have a busy schedule myself...so tht is the best I can do at the moment.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
