The Annual Christmas Luncheon is the BABC's flagship social event and a real highlight of the city's holiday scene, regularly attracting more than 800 members of the Bay Area Business community.
This year, we celebrate the 50th Annual Christmas Lunch which will once again be held in the spectacular Fairmont Hotel, atop Nob Hill. Tickets include traditional British Christmas fare (including a sumptuous three course luncheon and plenty of wine) as well as entertainment, Scottish bagpipers, a major Grand Prize Raffle, table prizes and a charity auction benefiting Raphael House, our beneficiary for the 9th year running.
Volunteering for this event is really rewarding on 2 main levels:
1) You help a GREAT cause, they raise $$ for Raphael House, which helps homeless families get back on their feet
2) You get lunch for free!
Volunteering entails helping to set up for the lunch and selling raffle tickets before and during the lunch. That part is great fun, as often different patrons compete with each other, as to who can buy the most tickets!
Also, the ballroom is a fabulous venue.
