Cirque du Soleil's "TOTEM"

Please note: RSVP's are closed. If you missed the RSVP deadline and you have a ticket, please feel free to meet us at the entrance to socialize before the show and at intermission.  Look for the Broadway Bound Meetup sign from 12:30 -12:50. However, for the restaurant after the show, reservations have been necessary. No walk ins at the restaurant on the day of the show.

Tickets: Prices range from $43.50 to $153.50 (online) including all fees.  If you would like to sit with the group, several of us have already purchased tickets for $84.50 in Section 204 Row K seats 5,6, and 7.

One of our event leaders, Joel, has offered us an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets ($10 off the regular price).  You can purchase discounted tickets by clicking here. Or you can call the box office at[masked] to order tickets (for a higher fee).

TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.

Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species.

Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

The show is 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 30 minute intermission.

More information is on the Cirque du Soleil website.

Wished I could have joined you, but I was in Philly. I am taking my son this weekend for his birthday. If it were not for you putting this in the calendar, I would not have thought of this treat for him.

I'm interested in joining the group for the "dinner after the show", great opportunity to discuss the show, getting to know you and for you to get to know me as well. I'm excited about this, I have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show- sounds really interesting.

Don't miss TOTEM. Going with Chris and the other Meetup members is a great way to meet new theatre going friends. And you'll love the show. It's jaw-dropping!
