Our Town
75th Anniversary Production
by Thornton Wilder
directed by Stephen Rayne
January 25-February 24, 2013

Set in the serene New England town of Grover’s Corners, Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama presents a timeless commentary on the transience of human existence. Teenagers George and Emily meet, fall in love, marry—and suffer the slings and arrows of everyday life. Wilder transforms their ordinary story into a poignant and captivating exploration of mortality and the interconnectivity of human beings. Stephen Rayne (The Heavens Are Hung In Black, Sabrina Fair and Parade) returns to direct this quintessential piece of American theater in celebration of the play’s 75th-anniversary year.

Dinner at 5:30 at Bistro D'oc Restaurant (French),[masked]th St NW, (between E St & F St) and directly across the street from Fords Theater. From experience, I always allow an hour and a half for dinner so we are not rushed, have time for restroom stop, etc.. Doors to the theater usually open a half hour before the show, so 7PM. Please do not be late for dinner. Pre Fixed Menu is $25.00 not including tax and tip, a very good deal, but you can also order off the menu.

Thanks Heidi for letting me know you are bringing a guest. I will add your guest to the count. Michael is also bringing someone. Anyone else?

Looking forward to dinner, too. BTW, I should count as 2 attendees because I'm bringing another person.

Yes, you buy your own tickets. That is why I provided my seat number - you can ask for the nearest seat to mine, Rear Orchestra seat K6. The discount is only for Rear Orchestra, right or left side. Joel and I always encourage people to join the group for the companion social event, usually dining before or after.

Click on Pages for purpose and rules. Broadway Bound Meetup is open to anyone interested in theater and the arts. Making friendships and sharing our love for theater is the main purpose for Broadway Bound Meetup, so participate!" We try to offer a social event before or after each theater event so you can meet people; you need to take the initiative to mingle. We do not represent any theater; we are not a resale ticket agent. This is not a business; your hosts expend time and money for the satisfaction, because that is what we like to do.

I purchased Rear Orchestra seat K6. Please let us know your seat number after you purchased your ticket. Also, if you are joining us for dinner at the lovely little bistro across the street. See my note below about how best to purchase your discounted seat in the Rear Orchestra. If you are over 62, you may be able to get a Senior Discount but you need to go to the box office to get it.

Hi Darlene, Helen I and I are sitting in K - 1 & 3. Yes we plan on being there for dinner prior to the show. Thank you for organizing this event!

I signed up for this event on the meet-up site several months ago and I thought that was a "pre-order" of tickets. From this note, it looks as though we each buy our own. Is that true?

Call Ticketmaster (800)[masked] - bypass the automated questions by entering "0" for Operator, and give that person the discount code BROADWAY. The automated question setup is not that sophisticated to get you there. Let us know what seat you purchased so we can try to sit together or close to each other.

I purchased Rear Orchestra seat K6. Tickets went on sale to the public on August 20th, so buy your ticket now.
