Shakespeare Theater Company's Wednesday Matinee "Wallenstein" April 24

Noon theater productions are half price for those age 60 and over. Buy your own ticket. Late lunch option afterwards.

Shakespeare Theater Company is proud to announce a newly commissioned adaptation and translation of Friedrich Schiller’s Wallenstein by former poet laureate Robert Pinsky. Wallenstein, one of Germany’s greatest dramatic works, follows the famous general Albrecht von Wallenstein at the height of his influence and power during the Thirty Years’ War. Leading Europe’s most powerful army, Wallenstein is caught between his ambition and his Emperor’s growing distrust. He must decide either to stay loyal to his king and lose his power or to betray his country for greater gain. STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn, called “one of the best directors in America”, envisions this epic story of war, intrigue and loyalty tested.

We could have lunch at Rosa Mexicano, next door to the Sidney Harman Hall.  Lunch is served until 4pm.  Check out the menu.

Rosa Mexicano

We could dine at La Tusca Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant, 722 7th Street NW.  I have a coupon for $25.00 off (excluding alcohol and happy hour), but we need to purchase as a group at least $50.  A 20% gratuity must be added prior to the $25.00 discount, so we end up saving something like $20.00 as a group - a few dollars savings per person.  Also, Happy Hour, 4–7 PM Everyday! Bar Only: $3.75 sangria, draft beers and house wines.  Glasses of cadillac sangria are $5.  Pitchers of sangria are $17 for the regular versions and $20 for the cadillacs.  Happy hour tapas are available for $3.75. Keep these options in mind.

Lots of good restaurants to choose from. How about Rosa Mexicano where lunch is served until 4pm. Or La Tusca where we can enjoy Happy Hour specials from 4-7. Let's see how long the performance is, then decide.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
