It's time to choose what books to read again. This time around, I'm going to hold two polls, one for local authors
(please vote by 7/18) and a final poll including the winners of this poll as well as books suggested by members (to be held the week of 7/21). To read full descriptions of the local books, please visit local books part 1
and local books part 2.
Please email me this or next week with your other book recommendations. We'll consider anything: classics, best sellers, and other fiction or nonfiction you've been wanting to read.
Thanks to the members who have contacted me with their choices for local books. Due to high interest, these books have already made the cut to appear on the final poll: Fly Paper for Freaks by Christine Peetz, Two Weeks Since my Last Confession by Kate Genovese, and Shut Up, I'm Talking: And Other Diplomacy Lessons I Learned in the Israeli Government, Gregory Levey.
Please contact me if you're interested in getting in touch with any of the local authors. They would love to hear from people who are interested in their book. I'd be happy to contact them on your behalf.
I hope to see many of you at the July meetup
