9-9-12 Tunnel to Towers Ride for Bryan Dilberian

This event is from Rolling Thunder Chapters I & II; in support of a local hero, Bryan Dilberian. Please see the details below and click the web site link to register. We will be taking off from our usual gathering spot of Shell station (probably) and head down to the Floyd Bennet Airfield.

Cutoff time is 8:45 am. We'll ride to Flatbush and take Flatbush all the way down to the airfield (It's the stupidest avenue to ride on but I like it better than BeltParkway) But I am open to suggestions :)

Ride safe.

Sea of motorcycles riders, thunder rolling from Flatbush Ave Belt Parkway to world trade center. Every overpass peoples cheer and fireman saluting as we passed by. Thanks to NYPD motorcycles escort and keeping all traffic into Belt Parkway. Inspiration rides.

hahaha. dude, Keith and eye looked for you a bit, then sat down and rested for half an hour and then left. Keith said "he was with me then he was gone all of a sudden" and I remember seeing someone pulling over to the side of the road but I was on the left hand side and all I remembered was that the bike was "white." Not a lot of white bikes out there :) Glad that you were OK. See you next time. How's dad doing?

It was an extraordinary experience. We rode from Floyd Bennet Airport to Ground Zero and back. Close to a thousand bikes, as far as the eye can see; police escort; no traffic; people cheering by the side of the road. What a ride! The weather was excellent too.
