Joint event w/"Sister 2 Sister Women's Book and Social Club":
Remember Lorraine Hansberry's play "A Raisin in the Sun"? (It's on Netflix if you don't)...The 1959 play ends with a black family moving into and integrating an all-white neighborhood called "Clybourne Park"...
Now fast-forward to the present day: The neighborhood over the years has become a black neighborhood and now young, white gentrifiers are moving in.
"Clybourne Park" has had a very successful run on Broadway.
This "Lights Out!" event includes post-performance reception w/ light hors d'oeuvres and live DJ.
