Froufrou brunch at Twenty Five Lusk!

Twenty Five Lusk is part of the new wave of hot bar/restaurant spots around town, with fancy interiors and mildly pricy food. I'm not necessarily into that scene at night, so why don't we hit it for brunch? The menu (click the brunch tab) has about six things I want to try (short rib hash?!!!) and I am definitely up for sharing if anyone else is. Some interesting things on the early drinks menu as well.

This falls on the date of a Giants home game, against the A's no less, so parking down by the ballpark might be pretty awful. That being said, we'll probably be out of there (or close to it) before the game starts at 1:05. Lots of mass transit options include CalTrain (restaurant is a block away from the station!), Muni lines 8x, 10, 12, 19, 27, 30, 45, T and N, or BARTing to one of the T or N transfer points. (I believe all of these lines run on Sunday, but please make sure.)

My usual boilerplate: Please avoid late cancellations and flaking, especially since I had to put a credit card down for this one. I'm not the backup plan for your weekend. Your fellow diners, host and the restaurant all appreciate it.

See you at brunch!

I can't even spell the sound I made while eating the cauliflower creme brulee.

Spectacular meal, perhaps the best brunch I've ever been to. Lovely presentation, nice little comps (nothing spectacular, but appreciated), enticing and delicious food. Oh yeah, and the company was pretty solid too!

Looking forward to joining all of you. Note that Sunday is also Bay to Breakers, which starts in South Beach. Some streets in the neighborhood are closed until 11AM. Not certain if this has impact on any of those Muni lines David mentioned, but traffic will be slow. You can find the complete list of closures at

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
