I went to Flying Fig this past Sunday to check out the brunch for myself b/c I will NOT be making this brunch. My out of town travels have been extended beyond Sunday, but I was determined to try the place! So I did & was very pleased, as I expect all of you will be!
The place opens at 11:00 am so I thought we'd give them 15 extra minutes & start just a few minutes later, so don't get there too early. We have reservations, so we don't have to rush to get a table & there is a separate small room off to the side & back of the restaurant where they will seat us. I'm waiting to hear on the ability to do separate checks, but, as always, I recommend you bring cash, just in case. Most places are good about allowing separate checks.
Even though I won't be there, Jill will as will many others, as you can see. Hope that more of you can come. I had the polenta w/poached egg & it was delish! The service was excellent & Tony was very hospitable.
