We have been getting a lot of emails over the weekend regarding the poker in London and The Bubble Poker League.

We can confirm that of today (Monday 6th July 2009) the company of Bubble Poker LTD is not folding there is no plan to fold or cease the business name and number in the near future.

We are trying to move forward with the company and get our brand out there as much as we can, over the next few months we have got many plans and new venues coming and that is just for London City, many plans are in place for future tournaments and league incentives.

The Bubble Poker League opened it’s doors to the public so that players that wish to socialize while playing the friendly game of poker could, the MD himself Craig ‘Bubble’ Norwood wanted to create an atmosphere within the league that was fun with a competitive edge, we really think that this has been achieved and would like to thank everyone that has come down and spent time on the tables with us.

What we have planned is a question through emails and messages that we get all the time, the plain answer is we really don’t know at this moment in time – Over the past month we have been looking at new venues and locations for league games spread around London and the outskirts.

BPL want to keep a standard of locations at a premium and this is why we are not taking on every pub that we see, if we were to do so then the standard of location and the standard of atmosphere and players would go down and this is something we really do not wish to be dealing with in the near future.

Our player numbers in the past few months have got to an average per venue of 42 and that is currently the biggest attendance in London, we are also getting more average players for our tournaments than the International and Empire do for there evening and afternoon tournaments.

So to conclude that at this moment in time the bubble poker league is still going strong and if anything changes in due course then you will be the first to know, we like to put all of our players first and think of you as a little ‘Bubble Family’ rather than just patrons.
