Meditation, Chanting, Dhamma Talk

The Buddhist Center of Ohio will be adding a dhamma talk & open discussion to our usual schedule of Sunday morning meditation and chanting.  Derek will base these talks on Walpola Rahula's classic introduction to Buddhism, What the Buddha Taught.  You can find this book anywhere, but reading of the book is optional!

Because it is an introductory book, this is a good opportunity to learn some of the basics of Buddhism, such as the Four Noble Truths, etc.  The talks will thus cover Buddhism from a non-sectarian perspective, but because the book is based largely on the Pali sources, they may have a bit of a Theravada slant.

All are most welcome to attend!  We expect to start at 10:30 and be done with the talks by noon.

It will be a weekly event, and if we expect to have to miss a week, we'll set a new announcement on this site.
