OPEN LAB: 3D Printing Third Monday

It's OPEN LAB! We're open to the public. Non-members are encouraged to come and see what Buffalo Lab is all about, check out our new space at The Foundry, see 3D printing in action and maybe consider becoming a member. If you have a 3D printer bring it with you. And being OPEN LAB, all projects and questions are welcome, not just 3D printing.

There's lots of parking available at the Foundry. Come in the side door, Buffalo Lab will be on your left.

Let's learn about this 3D printing stuff together.

see you soon!

Ive never used a 3d printer. Im interested in seeing what it can and can not do. I have an interest in building a home foundry and making metal castings. So my thought was model and print it in 3d and use that for an investment mold. Problem I keep seeing is that 3d printing anything large (2ft x 2ft) gets expensive fast.

I've heard of people doing "lost PLA" to make patterns for investment casting. Gigabot does 2 x 2

One of our casual 3d printing nights, nothing special planned. Great to see Dave with his new flash forge, Bill with his new delta, Joe and Matt working on another printrbot for members, Paul's 3d printed quad copter.
