Buffalo Audiophile Meetup

Calling all audiophiles! Whether you're a seasoned listener running McIntosh MC275s or an entry-level music lover looking for life beyond the iPod, we'd love to meet you!

Come and share your passion/knowledge/questions about vinyl, FLAC, DACs, speakers, pre-amps, amps, headphones, cables, Foobar2000 ABX tests, and all gear from Edison Diamond Discs to the latest PMPs.

Things to bring:

Your favorite music
Latest vinyl discoveries
Portable DACs if you've got 'em
Studio Monitors

I'll provide some basic gear for the first meet - a linear tracking turntable, an amp, a component CD player, an 1/8" AUX cable and a pair of Advents so please bring music to share!

We welcome crate digging stories, your album/equipment reviews, and questions about building the right system for your needs.

We'll also discuss ideal locations for our monthly meet-ups.

See you there!

UPDATE: Join and participate in the new Buffalo Audiophiles FB Group!

It will be a great space to post pics of our gear, to offer unused equipment to other members, to post your music blog updates, and to plan for future meets.

I think I'll be there, but am not positive. My smartphone got bricked, and that schedules my life.

I ever used Chuck. And I'm working on Synths in school right now.

My interest on this is audio synthesis. I've worked with supercollider and have some low level DSP experience. I also plan to lend some equipment to the lab once we are set up.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
