Music Is Art Festival

Music is Art Festival is on September 21 from 10am to 10pm at Delaware Park by the Marcy Casino (behind the Albright Knox Museum). It is FREE. Features over 100 bands on 7 stages, dancers, 3 live DJ Stages, kids village, live art, performance art, projections, food and beer.

Music is Art is based on the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to find their musical voice. MiA is dedicated to connecting music and the community, to ensure all types of music are recognized as an important part of our culture.

By nurturing new melodies through our annual festival, numerous educational programs and integral partnerships, MiA provides Western New York the chance to experience music in many unique ways.

Take a look around the site, and let us know if you'd like to get involved. Most importantly, think about how music touches your life and think about the fact that Music is Art!

The music is still going on from what I can hear (I am a couple blocks away). So we'll meet and decide what to do then. I still have hope! ;-)

This is a great festival and have gone many times. Very different art comes out and different music. Now is the time to wear all your funky outfits and hats. This is the festival for that. A lot of different food too. Taste the Lake Effect Ice Cream. Very different flavors. People just hang out. Bring a blanket maybe or jacket if it gets cool. Buffalo does that. lol. Water bottle...Maybe a back pack so you don't have to carry anything. This is one of the best festivals in Buffalo....Music and Art Combined. Parking is usually at Buffalo State or on street if you can find a spot.
