Welcome to the most dynamic Meetup group in Western New York!  Just moved  to the area? We do lots of great things and you'll discover an amazing city with so much to offer!  Lived here a while? This is an opportunity to explore a town you never knew you didn’t know.  We participate in a wide variety of activities and have a great time while meeting people and making friends. While the New in Town Meetup group is free to all members, it does cost your organizer $12 every month to keep it running.  Donations are accepted but not required.  You can donate any amount using PayPal available on Meetup.com and in person.  Have questions?  See an organizer at any of our events!

Please note : This is a very active group and some events do require us to have a reliable attendance count. To help us keep things running smoothly, we do ask that members try to follow a few guidelines:

• RSVP "Yes" only when you are certain to attend a Meetup.
• RSVP “Maybe” when you're not sure if you can attend a Meetup (addendum:  although meetup.com has removed the Maybe function from your RSVP options, if you must, please note your "Maybe" status when you RSVP yes so that your RSVP is as accurate as possible).
• Individuals with 2 months inactivity or 5 no-shows (RSVP "Yes" and do not attend) will be removed from the group.  This helps us to keep our membership numbers current and accurate.
