Awesome meet up. Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable, however, there was no food as posted there would be, oh well, not a deal breaker.

i've got a printed Word doc of my development method & notes, & saved on a USB drive. I wasn't sure if there would be a projector, or if we'd need one for only 5 people. I hope to learn a lot tonight.

I noticed from an old poll back in 2008 that the topic "Project Life-Cycle, Development Methodologies" was 2nd highest in popularity, so hopefully this will be a good topic, even if the number of attendees to this meetup may be small due to summer vacations etc.

I second this motion. As I am relatively new to application design I agree that this would be an excellent topic.

thanks. i'd appreciate it if others could bring examples, samples, or notes of how they plan their application architecture. I'll bring mine to see how i can improve.

Steve, we could make a discussion topic. I'll update the agenda.

hi, i'm interested in learning how other php coders "engineer" their web applications, from planning, proof of concepts, refactoring, acceptance testing, and finally documentation / notes. most times i feel like a cowboy shooting from the hip and it's slowing me down as my web app complexity increases. i noticed the last php meeting didn't have a formal presentation (it said TBD), so I thought i would throw this out there and see if anyone thought it would be a good topic, thanks.
