Great War Flying Museum "Fly-in" and Open House

http://www.greatwarflyingmuseum.com/index.html

A nice opportunity to get some up close photographs of recreated vintage aircraft from the early twentieth century. About noonish, there is an overhead airshow with recreated dog-fights and lots of smoke, etc. Good to get there early to get some shots without a lot of audience participation. Any normal focal lenght lense will work great for the static shots, a good telephoto works for the overhead shots. As there is a lot of action, use a fast shutter speed and, for the over head shots, a polarizer may be a desirable option to cut down on the glare

Lots of activity and beautiful day. This was complimented by volunteers in vintage clothing and the airplanes were beautiful.
