About Business Leaders for Responsible Government

Speakers Series You may be an expert in your field, but are you an expert in government and politics? The South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce invites all of our investors to a free speakers series focusing on government at all levels and branches, and how Colorado business leaders can become more influentially involved in our states politics. Speakers will include mayors, representatives, senators, legislators, even a Supreme Court Justice, all representing their own fields and willing to share their unique knowledge and experiences. Campaign for Governor Brainchild of South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce investor Jeff Wasden of PROformance Apparel athletic store, the mock elections for governor will give the investors in our nonpartisan chamber the opportunity to learn and participate in the political process. Through these elections, we will identify the business community's key issues for the real gubernatorial election in 2010, and give our investors the tools to make their voices heard.

Election 2009 Are you tired of letting politicians have all the fun during election time and don't know the ins and outs of the political process? The Chamber has designed Election 2009 to engage our investors in the political process, and find what issues matter to them the most. President and CEO of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce announced, "By the first Tuesday of November, it's our hope to have hundreds or thousands of business people who really understand government and politics."
