Hello all,

I just wanted to invite you all to a networking and social lounge that will be held at Park Ave Lounge in Hyde Park each Thursday evening from 9 pm - 2 am, benefiting the Melvia Wright Patten Scholarship Fund. As you may or may not know, I organize the silent auction for our annual gala.

This event is not part of our regular monthly meet-up meeting! (Say that 5 times fast! LOL)

The Thursday Night Lounge will be a weekly opportunity to socialize and start the weekend a little early with friends and new acquaintances for those in the Hyde Park area. It is an opportunity to network locally, within our community, while patronizing a business owned by a community member of color.

We will also be providing more information on the Melvia Wright Patten Scholarship Fund and the work of the organizers of the Fund's annual gala and silent auction. In addition to the lounge, we will have weekly raffles that benefit the MWP Scholarship Fund, a light buffet and a live DJ playing the best old school music!

I hope some of you may join us tomorrow night at Park Ave Lounge, 1250 Hyde Park Ave, [masked] starting at 9pm.
