At OMVB (Online Marketing for Ventura Businesses) monthly meetings you will learn how to sort the bling from the online opportunities.  You do not need to have a website or sell product online. The only requirement is that you want to use the Internet as a marketing tool to grow your business.

We will have guest speakers presenting tools to help you define your online strategy with topics like:

  • Is social media the right tool for your business?
  • What is SEO (search engine optimization) and how can it grow my business?
  • How to select the right technology for implementation
  • Is blogging a way to create a bigger following?
  • How do small businesses use Twitter to grow their business?
  • What is online reputation and how can I use it to grow my business?

We will also have workshops to learn how to effectively use these specific online tools, including:

  • FaceBook
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Blogging
  • Email marketing
  • content management systems (i.e. Joomla)
  • WordPress
  • Google AdWords
  • Search engine optimization
  • Website optimization to maximize search results

We may do panels of professionals and some freeforum networking as time allows. There will be NO SOLICITATION OR SPAMMING allowed. Registration is preferred but walk-ins are permitted.
