Welcome to the rebirth of the Calgary Entrepreneur Meeting. Our monthly meeting will bring together entrepreneurs from every walk of life in Calgary.

We will have a keynote speaker every month that will share tips and tricks to success as an entrepreneur.

Cost to attend is $5.00 (does not include your food and beverages). The reason for the fee is that meetup and our future online services have costs associated and we want to be fair to everyone.

This month's topic - Spinning a new web with Stuart Crawford and David West

Stuart will share tips and tricks to success on the Internet, what do you need to know today to start making you money on the Internet. Stuart is an avid blogger and leverages the web everyday, his blog at http://www.stuartcraw... is the cornerstone to his Web strategies. Stuart also manages http://www.weareitpro..., http://www.itmatters.... plus others.

David West is the President of Calgary's eKzact Solutions a leading Web development firm. Dave's expertise includes taking business onto the web and driving revenue for corporations using the web.

Stuart and Dave provided an excellent overview of important issues affecting entrepreneurs on the web. This was the best meetup yet.

The Web is a great way to attract new business to your business

Who attended?

  • 30 attendees
    •  I found it interesting but didn't get all the info. Anyways, I hate too much paper but ONE side or two at the most for some web side addresses or central thoughts on that issue would have made much different.
    •  Well-presented, valuable information appropriate for novices and experts alike. And it was great to see and chat with a large group of people from a variety of industries represented. Bring a friend to the next one - let's get really big.
    • dorian (+1 guest)
I thought that there was a lot of great information available, and the presentation was informative! The speakers were very knowledgeable!! I would have liked there to be a few more people there, but hey, that's easy...we'll all invite a guest for next time!! I thought it was GREAT!!! Im coming again for sure, and Id love to see lots more people there!
    •  Nice to see things back on track..Also, hopefully a more diversified group too..Good work Stu! Also, like idea of optional meals-just a logical option..
    •  I had a lot of takehome value from this meetup Google this and Google that ++++
    •  The Calgary Entrepreneurs Meetup Group is a must attend for any Calgary based entrepreneur who wants to network with other like minded business leaders.
    •  lts good in the fact that it business talk not a gathering of people for a meal.It gets to the point giving many ways to expose your business.
    •  learned lot of new things about internet and web, really great experience of Meetup. Especially I won the starbucks coupan, this is one among the very few things I won without my any work. regards, Rajesh Angral
    •  Learned alot was friendly and look forward to the next meeting
