International Women’s Day — Potluck Celebration

  • March 6, 2014 · 5:30 PM
  • Kerby Centre

Hosted by the Women’s Centre of Calgary

In celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD), we’ve teamed up with the Alberta Network of Immigrant Women, the Public Service Alliance of Canada, the United Food and Commercial Workers, and the United Way of Calgary and Area to offer a free community potluck at the Kerby Centre.

Join us in celebrating strong women and sharing inspiration for change. Everyone is welcome. Guests are invited to bring a dish if they are able, or to just come and enjoy. Due to allergies, no peanuts please.

We will also be offering music, activities and a short program featuring guest speaker, Autumn Eaglespeaker with Idle No More.

Free parking is available at the Kerby Centre.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
