Oneness Blessing (Deeksha) and Meditation

Our natural state is to be in communion with all of life, without any perception of separation: in Oneness with all that is. However, our attachment to our minds and the continuous flow of thoughts makes it difficult to experience this Oneness in our daily lives. The Oneness Blessing assists in de-clutching the mind to allow ever- deeper experiences of the profound silence, joy and grace that lie just beyond the thinking mind. The more time we can spend in this state, the more available it becomes in our daily lives, bringing harmony, happiness and peace to ourselves and those around us.

We will gather on Monday nights at 7pm in the Hospitality Room (immediate left at the top of the stairs opposite the main entrance) at the West Hillhurst Community Centre to meditate and share the Oneness Blessing. The evening is offered by donation and no experience or training is required. Simply show up with an open heart and open mind and allow the Grace of the Divine to infuse your body and soul.

perfect. I may not be able to attend this evening in the end but 100% will bring my son with me . Do you run all summer? Wow that's fantastic you welcome children and they can go elsewhere when they are done.

Hi Shelly. The sessions last about 1 1/2 hour. The youngest I've seen here were about 3 so of course he would be welcome. Both locations have a place just outside the door where he could sit if he get impatient or uncomfortable, and he wanted to wait outside the room with a book or video games until we finish. Of course you could leave early as well if you thought necessary. Please note we've moved rooms at West Hillhurst. We are now in the Hospitality Room, which is to the immediate left at the top of the stairs opposite the main entrance.

Hello I'm wondering how long is the meditation and can children participate. I know this is odd request but my son has been meditationing for 4 years already . He's going to be 7 in July so I wondered.
