Any member may suggest an event. Upon approval, the member may be made an event coordinator of their suggested event and they will be able to set the destination, date, rules, and provide all necessary information.
To cover the cost of the Meetup.com fees I have setup an "Encouraged Donation" $12.00 to sponsor a month on the home page. If there are excess $'s donated, the $'s will be used for the bonfire and barbecue expenses.
