Mary's Peak

Mary's Peak is the highest point in the coastal range and a great little hike to get in before winter arrives. We'll take the East Ridge trail which is about 2.4 miles long with a 1200 foot climb making for a nice day hike. Hopefully the weather will be clear and the views will be spectacular. Bring a lunch to enjoy, and pack in layers as the top is unsheltered at 4,000 foot elevation, it may be pretty chilly.

This one is a little southwest of corvalis and is about a 2 hour drive, so we'll meet at the usual Albertson's and carpool. Please try to arrive a little before 9 so we can depart on time.

This was a great hike, aside from missing the view at the top. I actually love living in a soggy rainforest... lets keep the Sunday hikes coming!!!
